Creative Organizational Projects?

I'm trying to make my life more organized and I was wondering if you had any ideas. I know about obvious things, such as organizing my closet, keeping a planner, google docs, organizing my desk. But I was wondering if you had any other suggestions. As of now I am organizing my receipts in a finance binder, scrap booking, and making a memory board. Any project ideas like that? I haven't been able to find anything I liked online.
