I am wondering how to become a wedding planner?

I have always loved helping people and I have an eye for style and color but I would love to know everything I need to know about becoming a professional wedding planner. What kinds of schools should I go to or would i be fine without going to one, what type of skills do i need to have, what do i need to know about finances and budgeting, etc. Thanks for the responses!
