Can you finger yourself in order to loose your virginity?

I was fingering myself and I heard that if any bleeding occurs then that means you have lost your virginity .well my fingers are less than 4/5inches long when I started bleeding but I also have a feeling I may have scratched myself down there so did I loose it?
